Become a volunteer

Steyning would not be the place it is today without the small army of volunteers, who give up some of their free time to provide valuable additional community services.

These volunteers do many different tasks from litter picking roads and twittens that make Steyning a joy to visit, to planting the tubs and hanging baskets that make Steyning so colourful from spring through summer and the volunteer ‘weeders’ that keep the High Street weed free.

First Responders are the first medical assistance most people have before the emergency services arrive and are vital to our rural community. There are many other unsung heroes that make our town such a wonderful place to live in and if you want to do your bit to help the community continue to thrive and prosper please let us know by calling the town clerk on 01903 812042 or email spcclerk@btconnect.com.
